FAQs
We’re always delighted to see family and friends. Our homes have an open and flexible visiting approach, so you can pop in during the day or evening and stay as long as you wish. At Llys Gwyn, there’s a genuine sense of community—residents often build friendships not only within the home but also with neighbours in the wider area. Visits are an important part of life here, and we love the joy and connection they bring.
Absolutely. Families are encouraged to bring along personal touches—photographs, ornaments, a favourite blanket, or small pieces of furniture—to make the room feel familiar and comforting. Each room is already equipped with its own TV and Wi-Fi connection, so residents can watch their favourite shows, video call family, or browse online. If you’d like to bring additional electrical items, we’ll check them for safety before use.
Our activity programme is designed to bring enjoyment, purpose, and variety to each day. Options range from arts and crafts to music sessions, gentle exercise, games, and themed events. We also welcome wonderful external visitors such as Animal Cwtch, Owl Adventures, and many more—bringing unique experiences right to our residents.
We value the input of families and friends, and if there’s something specific you’d like to see your loved one enjoy, we will always explore the logistics and, if it’s viable, make it happen. Many of our most-loved activities have come directly from family suggestions. Whether it’s joining a lively group, enjoying one-to-one time, or meeting a friendly animal, there’s always something to look forward to.
We’re always happy to help. Whether you prefer to call, drop in for a chat, or send us a message, our team will be ready to answer your questions and put your mind at ease.
